How to care for down and pure wool!
Our GANS Down Shampoo is specially formulated for down and wool fibers. Without bleaching agents, without brighteners!
Down: Wash at 60°C with our liquid detergent and spin. Then dry in the dryer with a tennis ball at high temperature and shake up. If the down is still damp, repeat the drying process.
Dab stains with a few drops before washing, leave for about 10 minutes, then wash.
Wool: Machine wash only with wool program at max. 30 degrees, otherwise prefer hand wash. Put coarse knits in laundry bag.
Hand wash: Soak pieces for approx. 10 to 15 minutes (max. 30°C water temperature), then press through briefly and rinse well with max. 30°C warm water. Do not rub or scrape.
Dosage for medium water hardness:
Machine wash: 2 capfuls (20ml)
Hand wash: 1 capful (10 ml) to 5 l water.
The content is sufficient for 12 machine washes or 24 hand washes.
Stains: Colored parts that no longer bleed can be dabbed with a few drops of GANS Down Shampoo pure before washing. Leave to act for approx. 10 min., then wash. Pull wool pieces into shape on a terry towel and roll up. Unwrap after approx. 1/2 hour and let dry lying down. Do not dry on the heater or in the sun.
Please wash light-colored and color-intensive wool pieces separately. Constantly move printed wool or parts made of strong colors mixed with white in the washing bath. If the water discolors, place immediately in a new wash bath. Wool with Superwash finish can also be machine washed (max. 30 °C). Do not machine dry!

15-30% anionic surfactants (from renewable raw materials), under 5% skin care substances, lanolin polyethoxilate, fragrances, linalool, hexyl cinnamal. Preservative: potassium sorbate. Biodegradable according to OECD screening test: readily biodegradable.
