Bio-Timber comforters are filled with 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell, a natural fiber from the raw material wood, which is obtained from certified and controlled sources. Its temperature balancing and moisture regulating properties make the TENCEL™ fiber the ideal filling for wonderfully light comforters. Best sleeping climate & ecology right from the start.

Thanks to the perfect moisture management, even bacteria hardly stand a chance. This means that Bio-Timber quilts are also ideally suited to people with house dust allergies.

All HEFEL organic products are equipped with the finest Organic Cotton fabric. The cotton used comes from controlled organic cultivation. It is produced in controlled organic farming systems in compliance with strict guidelines and picked by hand. Organic Cotton producers guarantee minimum social standards, sufficient pay and humane working conditions.

The use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers is completely avoided. No chlorine compounds, no optical brighteners and no chlorinated hydrocarbon compounds are used in pre-treatment. Everything from cultivation to the finished quilt is 100% certified organic.
